The Role
As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll focus on building and enhancing consumer and business applications across web and mobile. You’ll design and develop with three core principles in mind: maintainability, performance, and security.
You’ll work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment where frontend engineers have real ownership and influence across the full development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a digital wallet experience that is secure, intuitive and performant across devices
* Build new features and optimise existing functionality for web and mobile platforms
* Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services efficiently
* Participate in planning, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance
* Write clean, scalable, high-quality code aligned with best practices
* Contribute to performance optimisation and secure coding standards
Requirements
* Strong experience with React and/or React Native
* Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs
* Solid understanding of web fundamentals (DOM, CORS, browser storage, request/response lifecycle)
* Strong knowledge of mobile platforms, including native modules, app lifecycle, data storage and performance optimisation (iOS & Android)
* Familiarity with modern JavaScript/ECMAScript standards
* Experience with version control systems
* Understanding of development pipelines and automation tools
* Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
* Fluent written and spoken English
Nice to Have
* Experience with additional programming languages
* Test automation experience
* Multi-language application development
* Knowledge of digital assets/cryptocurrency ecosystems
* Open-source contributions, technical writing, or community involvement
