Contractually based out of our Portsmouth office, this is a full time position working 37 hours per week on a 16 month fixed term basis, with a minimum of 20% of this to be office based to promote collaboration and team working. There may be some occasional travel required to our Basingstoke office.

Here’s The Facts About The Role
The HR Administrator Apprentice will be working as part of the People Team (Human Resources, Learning & Development, Recruitment) learning about all aspects of HR and supporting all areas of the business. You’ll learn to carry out a full range of HR processes and tasks and support the team in the delivery of a great customer experience. You’ll assist the team in processing employee information, preparing documents, ensuring compliance check completion and carrying out recruitment administration.
About
You’ll work with an experienced qualified administrator and co-ordinator to learn about the role. You’ll have a learning plan that sits alongside the college curriculum so you’ll always put into practice what you've learned at college and build on your skills until you can confidently perform the tasks. You'll learn things such as:
* Answering queries that come into the HR service desk and be responsible for tickets that are assigned to you
* Updating information on Cascade (our management system) to ensure records are kept up to date
* Providing admin support around our benefit offer
* Collate long service awards and process them
* Collate recognition awards and process them
* Carry out DBS checks in line with current procedure
* Carry out reference checks for new starters
* Support with booking interviews and collating interview paperwork
You’ll attend college 1 day a week during term time to study a level 3 apprenticeship. This can either be face to face at Chichester college or online.

To Apply For Our HR Apprenticeship, You Must
* Be aged 18 or over
* Have at least 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4/A*-C, including Maths and English
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Have a keen interest in social housing
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Be enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learn
