RPG Developer5 days onsiteWe are seeking an experienced RPG Developer to join our clients Development team, based full-time onsite in Minworth. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, you will play a key role in delivering both new developments and enhancements to existing processes within their ERP environment.This role spans a wide range of business functions, including supply chain, sales order processing, warehouse management, logistics, and finance. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure successful delivery and implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with business users to gather, clarify, and document requirementsSecure agreement and sign-off on documented requirements from stakeholdersProduce detailed technical specifications outlining required deliverablesDevelop, test, and implement RPG-based solutions within an AS400 environmentConduct unit testing and support end-to-end solution testingCollaborate with technical teams and business sponsors to ensure solutions meet expectationsManage solution sign-off and support smooth implementation into productionRequired Experience & SkillsMinimum of 3 years' experience working within an ERP supply chain environmentStrong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from operational staff to senior leadershipAnalytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutionsProven ability to test and validate system changes effectivelyTechnical expertise in AS400 environments, including:RPG programmingQuerySQLDesirable SkillsExperience working with EDI packagesExposure to multi-functional ERP systems across supply chain, finance, and logisticsRPG DeveloperDue to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
