HR Manager – Overview
Recruiting for an HR Manager for a manufacturing and distribution client in Bedford.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the overall HR function for the business.
* Manage a generalist remit, reviewing and developing policies & processes.
* Report on HR metrics and attend meetings with the senior leadership team.
* Manage appraisals, coach and advise management on process, recruitment & onboarding, and employee relations.
* Develop learning and development initiatives, with a focus on leadership development.
* Embed a positive working culture, sustaining engagement and instilling strong people values.
Qualifications
* Proven background working as a generalist HR Manager.
* Stand‑alone HR experience.
* Experience within a private sector, ideally a manufacturing/distribution/warehouse environment.
* CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
* Strong UK Employment Law knowledge.
* Exceptional relationship‑building, communication and leadership skills.
