I’m looking for a motivated, people-focusedSales Executive to join an established sales team in Letchworth. This is an office-based, B2B sales role focused onmechanical components for the aftermarket, supporting customers across theUK and Ireland, with enquiries coming in from customers around the world.

What the role is all about
This is asales-driven position, where success is measured by sales performance and growth. You’ll manage a portfolio of existing spending accounts while actively developing new business and deepening customer relationships.
You’ll gain strong product knowledge quickly, sharpen your sales skills, and play a meaningful role in a busy, collaborative team. Historically, people who thrive in this role often progress into other areas of the business, the business genuinely like to promote from within.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Proactive sales activity every day, primarily outbound phone calls
* Managing inbound and outbound telephone calls
* Responding to customer enquiries via email and other channels
* Using customer-provided dimensional information to select the correct chain type and prepare accurate quotes
* Converting quotes into orders and completing the required admin to ensure smooth processing and shipment
* Liaising with courier services and updating customers on delivery information
* Handling customer service enquiries related to orders and general support
* Working closely with internal departments and key stakeholders to keep orders moving smoothly

* Previous B2B sales experience (technical products preferred, but not essential)
* Confident and professional telephone manner
* Strong customer service skills

Training & development
You won’t be expected to know everything on day one.Full product and systems training will be provided, alongside ongoing support to help you build confidence, capability, and long‑term success in the role.
