Location: Dalkeith
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Your Responsibilities
As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Managing and directing subcontractor partners under the guidance of the project manager to deliver various work packages, including groundworks, drainage, structural frame erection, roofing, cladding, and interior fit-out.
* Checking subcontractor work to ensure alignment with project timelines, design drawings, and quality standards.
* Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure safe working methods are in place.
* Conducting toolbox talks and site inductions to ensure compliance with Kier standards, while maintaining accurate records for auditing.
* Coordinating site logistics, including the movement of plant and labor, while prioritizing safety.
* Reporting any issues or delays to the Senior Site/Project Manager.
* Liaising with the project design manager to provide essential information.
* Creating, logging, and filing site reports and paperwork promptly and accurately.
* Collaborating with the wider project team to find solutions to any technical or logistical challenges that arise on site.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* A relevant construction qualification (HND/Degree) in construction management or a similar field, or a technical trade backed by appropriate accreditation (SVQ or equivalent).
* SMSTS 5 Day Certificate, CSCS Card, and First Aid Certificate.
* A valid driving license.
* Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
