Job Description:
A global provider of packaging solutions is seeking an energetic, ambitious sales representative with a proven track record of winning significant new business and maintaining strong relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company that has grown from zero to £150 million in sales over five years, with significant investments to become a revolutionary player in the marketplace, offering global closed-loop polythene recycling solutions.
The primary responsibility will be prospecting and securing new business, as well as providing packaging and service solutions to existing clients. You will be part of a well-established team focused on increasing market share within the UK.
Key Duties & Skills:
1. Selling general packaging into the retail sector.
2. Transferring and converting business from current relationships.
3. Having a strong sales mentality with good account management skills.
4. Building quick rapport and strong relationships through enthusiastic attitude.
5. Demonstrating a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
6. Proactively identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.
7. Promoting and selling new products and concepts.
8. Utilizing customer supply chain insights to identify opportunities, risks, and demands.
9. Presenting packaging solutions and demonstrating their value to customers.
10. Monitoring the performance of new packaging solutions to ensure they meet client needs.
11. Traveling regularly to visit target and existing clients.
