Key Responsibilities
* Be the primary point of contact for all Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality issues for employees, Management Team members, Directors and external stakeholders.
* Continuously monitor operational activities to ensure the business operates in line with specific Environmental permit conditions and recommend improvements.
* Conduct investigations, record, report and analyse all accidents and near‑miss incidents.
* Attend and contribute to Daily Operations Meetings with Management Team members.
* Undertake periodical site inspections and distribute written reports to company Managers.
* Manage the ISO drives to ensure all Management System documentation is accurate and accessible.
* Prepare extensive internal and external audit documentation (review, revision and creation of ISO Management System documentation) and attend audits.
* Oversee the maintenance of other company certifications/accreditations (e.g., Safe Contractor/CHAS).
* Coordinate Health, Safety and Environmental Committee Meetings and oversee arising actions.
* Prepare and dispatch reports or information relating to Health, Safety and Environmental operations.
* Coordinate relevant HSEQ training courses/employee development opportunities.
* Formulate and deliver internal training courses (Health, Safety and Environmental).
* Maintain, audit and review Departmental Training Matrices.
* Complete relevant supplier tenders/assessment questionnaires.
* Liaise and communicate with external enforcement agencies and regulators as required.
* Assist with company compliance policies in relation to drug and alcohol testing and stop-and-searches.
* Develop first‑line reports professionally.
