Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a 12 month fixed term HR Administrator to join a busy HR team based in Sherburn.
The purpose of the role is to provide an accurate and efficient administration service to the Human Resources Department, responsible for covering all aspects of the employee life cycle.
A minimum of one year's experience working in a generalist HR administration role with a good working knowledge of HR systems and data reporting is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
* Recruitment and Selection - Complete administrative activity to support the recruitment and selection process for Sherburn.
* On-boarding and Induction -Conduct administrative activity to support the on boarding and induction of new employees:
* HR Database and Reporting - Ensure all HR Databases are accurately updated with employee information.
* Payroll Support - Ensure timely and accurate collation of the HR & Payroll data for the payroll department.
* Leaver Administration- Administer the HR process for employees exiting the business.
* General HR Administration- Complete ad hoc general administration tasks for the HR Department.
* Advice and Guidance- Take notes in informal meetings, such as absence reviews, welfare meetings as required by the HR Manager
Skills that are required for this role.
* IT literate including experience of working with full suite of Microsoft Office packages.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Experience of working with a Time & Attendance system
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Excellent interpersonal awareness and personal effectiveness.
* Good analytical thinking skills.
* Excellent written and numeracy skills.
* Good communication skills – written and verbal.
* Organisation and prioritisation skills.
* Personal resilience and ability to deliver.
* Understanding of Confidentiality and GDPR obligations
