Overview
The Headteacher and Governors of Holly Hill Primary and Nursery School wish to appoint a permanent Site Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team. You will play a key role in ensuring that our school is a safe, clean, attractive and secure environment for our children to learn in and for our staff to work in. The role requires you to ensure that the site is managed effectively and that all administrative tasks are completed to the highest standard to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
* Security of the site, including lock up after events and responding to the alarm system.
* Health and safety compliance in collaboration with the leadership team.
* Part of the cleaning team to ensure the school remains inviting.
* Manage an annual budget with careful and effective spending.
* Complete administrative tasks related to site management to a high standard.
* Coordinate with the Headteacher, staff, contractors and external partners as required.
* Attend to maintenance and repair works, with the ability to undertake various tasks or supervise contractors.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Ability to undertake maintenance and repair works or oversee such works.
* Pro-active, with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Experience in a school environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Experience managing budgets.
Work Details
Location: Holly Hill Primary and Nursery School, Selston, NG16 6AW
Salary: £26,824 - £29,540 (Permanent, Full Time)
Work pattern: Split shift (Monday - Friday, 6 – 10am and 2:36 – 6pm). Some out of hours work may be required to ensure site security and attend training.
