Senior Recruitment Consultant - Specialising in Business Support
Are you a proactive, people first HR professional looking for your next big opportunity in a fast paced, service driven SME environment? PRS is partnering with one of the UK’s fastest growing SMEs in the technical services and facilities management sector, and we're looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a standalone role for a self-led individual who thrives on variety from leading employee relations and recruitment to delivering impactful people strategies and fostering a positive, high-performance culture across the business.
You’ll work closely with operational leaders, engineers, and the wider support team to deliver HR best practices while ensuring compliance, development, and engagement remain at the core of everything you do.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Advising and coaching managers on all aspects of HR, including performance, attendance, and development.
* Leading recruitment and onboarding processes in collaboration with operational managers.
* Managing the full employee lifecycle, including appraisals, probation, and succession planning.
* Handling employee relations matters professionally and consistently.
* Overseeing payroll accuracy in collaboration with the finance team.
* Supporting training and development programs for both office and field-based staff.
* Driving employee engagement, retention strategies, and cultural initiatives.
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations specific to technical services.
What We're Looking For:
* 5+ years of HR experience in a similar role, ideally within a technical or service-based environment.
* Confident in employment law, employee relations, and performance management.
* Highly organised, detail focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills able to influence and advise at all levels.
* Comfortable working with HR systems (HRIS) and confident with data accuracy and reporting.
