Im currently partnering with a large, well-established multi-site UK organisation to recruit an experienced Reward Lead on a fixed-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned reward professional looking for a role that combines strategic project delivery with hands-on operational leadership.
While initially offered as a fixed-term contract, there is genuine potential for the position to become permanent for the right individual.
Working as part of a sizeable and highly regarded People function, you will lead a specialist team focused on Compensation and Recognition, ensuring the organisations reward programmes continue to support business objectives, employee engagement, and market competitiveness.
The Opportunity
This is a varied role that offers an interesting balance between business-as-usual reward activity and the delivery of key strategic initiatives. Youll play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing reward frameworks while ensuring operational excellence across compensation and recognition programmes.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating both strategically and tactically, partnering with senior stakeholders across the business while leading and developing an established team.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and managing a team of reward professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
* Overseeing compensation and recognition activities across a large and complex UK workforce.
* Delivering reward projects and transformation initiatives alongside ongoing BAU responsibilities.
* Partnering with senior leaders, HR colleagues, and key stakeholders to provide expert reward advice and insight.
* Supporting the development and implementation of reward strategies, policies, and frameworks.
* Managing annual reward cycles and ensuring effective governance and compliance.
* Analysing market trends and benchmarking data to inform reward decisions.
* Driving continuous improvement across reward processes and employee experience.
