Catering Manager based at a school in the Barnet area.

Monday to Friday
Duties and Responsibilities
* Organises and supervises food preparation and service.
* Ensures catering services operate in accordance with all relevant food hygiene and health and safety processes and procedures.
* Leads and manages catering staff team on a day‑to‑day basis.
* Maintains effective control systems and records of stock.
* Maintains and rotates appropriate stock levels, ensures minimum wastage of product.
* Successfully resolves customer and employee complaints.
* Develops effective client relationships through regular communication.
* Attends training as and when required; training may be scheduled outside normal working hours.
* Compliance with all statutory and company health and safety practices and procedures, including manual handling.
* Adheres to all company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and provisions of contract.
* As and when required, carries out additional tasks concerned with the operation of the establishment.
* For education establishments, complies with statutory and company safeguarding regulations.
Education, Training & Qualifications
* NVQ in supervision and leadership.
* For education establishments, a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure or security clearance and cleared Barred List Check is essential.
