Job Overview
We are seeking hardworking and reliable Cast Iron Foundry Labourers to join our established manufacturing team. This is a physically demanding position within a hot and fast paced foundry environment, supporting the production of high-quality cast-iron components.
Key Responsibilities
* Help prepare and assemble sand moulds including cores
* Ensure moulds are accurately formed, cleaned, and finished to a high standard
* Operating foundry machinery and hand tools
* Support skilled foundry staff
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety procedures
Skill and Experience Required
* Previous foundry or heavy industrial experience is advantageous but not essential
* Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a hot, noisy enviornment
* Strong work ethic, reliability and a willingness to learn
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
What We Offer
* 4 day working week (37 hours) 7.45 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.Monday to Thursday
