Overview
Ergo are seeking a Data Architect for a long-term contract opportunity with a UK-based client. As a Data Architect you will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures that support enterprise analytics, reporting and business analytics needs.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, with the ability to integrate and synchronise data between these systems and data warehouses.
This is a remote role with potential to extend and is open to candidates in the UK and the Island of Ireland.
What will you do?
* Design and recommend scalable, secure, and performant data models optimised for analytics and reporting
* Work with Microsoft Fabric for unified data analytics, storage, and governance or other similar modern data stacks
* Manage data architecture, data modelling, and data warehousing for large-scale enterprise environments (Kimball, Data Vault, semantic models)
* Design and implement data migration strategies to facilitate moving data from on-premises to Azure cloud-based platforms
* Manage and architect solutions for large datasets, ensuring data quality, consistency and efficient storage
* Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate data requirements into robust architectural designs
You should have experience in the following:
* Dynamics 365
* MS Power Platform
* ETL/ELT processes, data ingestion pipelines and orchestration using Azure Data Factory or similar tools
The following is desirable:
* Degree in IT or similar
* Background in data governance, security, and compliance best practices within Azure environments.
* Familiarity with cloud data platform best practices, including cost optimisation and environment monitoring.
