The Role & Technical Scope: You will provide high-level administrative support to the HR Manager, acting as the first point of contact for staff queries regarding contracts, pay, and school policies. This is a role for someone who loves the "mechanics" of HR—ensuring every document is perfect and every deadline is met. Recruitment & Compliance: Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting adverts to conducting right-to-work checks, obtaining references, and ensuring medical clearances are in place before a start date. Contractual Administration: Issuing offer letters, contracts, and variations to terms and conditions. You will ensure that all staff have up-to-date job descriptions and that the school’s establishment portal is accurate. Data Intelligence & Reporting: Leading on the annual School Workforce Census and maintaining the HRIS (e.g., iTrent or Moorepay) to ensure data-driven reporting for the Trust Board. First-Line HR Advice: Providing accurate advice to staff on a range of queries including maternity/paternity leave, shared parental leave, and the "Cycle to Work" scheme.
