Involve Recruitment are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee social housing voids, planned maintenance, and small works projects across Cardiff. The role will have a strong focus on fire protection and compliance works, ensuring properties are brought up to standard safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day site activities across social housing voids and maintenance works
* Oversee small works projects including fire stopping, fire doors, compartmentation, and associated remedial works
* Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour across multiple properties
* Ensure all works comply with fire safety regulations and housing standards
* Maintain strict health & safety compliance in occupied and vacant properties
* Carry out site inspections, quality checks, and sign-offs
* Manage programmes and ensure works are completed on time and within budget
* Liaise with housing associations, local authorities, residents, and project teams
* Maintain accurate records, certification, and compliance documentation
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing maintenance or voids
* Strong knowledge of fire protection works and compliance requirements
* Experience managing small works and reactive / planned maintenance programmes
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
* Strong communication and organisational skills
Qualifications (Essential)
* SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
