There are two roles available, one in the North (Birmingham and the surrounding area) and one in the South (London and the surrounding area). These are customer facing roles with regular travel within your region, and occasional meetings in London and other locations, with flexibility required in line with business needs.

We have a great opportunity for a Letter Sales Executive to join our Market Reach Letters Sales Team, within Royal Mail Group, one of the country’s most iconic brands. In this exciting and challenging role, you’ll develop and enhance your Advertising & Direct Marketing knowledge and B2B sales skills, helping clients deliver their business objectives using our Media channels, whilst protecting and growing Royal Mail Group revenues.

About The Role
* Develop client relationships and deliver value with a portfolio of brands that use mail as an advertising medium for Customer Relationship Management and Customer Acquisition as well as using mail for non-advertising customer/brand communications.
* Identify and target large advertisers who do not use Mail / Door Drop as part of their marketing mix and promote our channel solutions using the case for mail toolkit.
* Present and promote the ‘Case For Mail’ to existing and prospective clients using compelling arguments and presentations demonstrating the value of mail as an effective communications solution as part of a balanced media or communication strategy.
* Work collaboratively within the Letter Specialist team, with Channel partners and other key stakeholders to develop individual and sector sales plans to change client’s perception of the effectiveness of Direct Mail and Customer Mail.
* Use CRM System ‘SalesForce’ to build an opportunity pipeline and track and report on Sales Performance including Sales Targets and KPI outcomes.
About You
To truly excel in role, you will possess the necessary skills and experience listed below.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Studies or Marketing, or a related field
* Knowledge of all media with some knowledge of Direct Mail and how it would fit into a balanced media strategy
* Proven work experience in media sales or a related role is a definite plus
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
