The role
Site Manager required for a refurbishment of a supermarket in the Sale area. The start date is Monday 6th July and the project will run for 12 weeks. We have a requirement for a Site Manager on nights.
Key Responsibilities -
- Manage the refurbishment project during night shifts.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors.
- Conduct site inductions.
- Attend and lead client meetings.
- Ensure health, safety, and site compliance.
- Liaise with a visiting Contracts Manager and the day/night management team.
- Use IT systems for reporting and project administration.
Essential Experience -
- Proven experience as a Site Manager.
- Strong background in retail construction/refurbishment projects.
- Experience working on supermarket or similar retail fit-out/refurbishment schemes.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- IT literate.
Must have the below qualifications-
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- First Aid Certificate
- CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness
- Fire Marshal
Ideal Candidate
An experienced retail construction Site Manager who can independently oversee night works, manage subcontractors effectively, maintain client relationships, and ensure the project is delivered safely and on schedule.
