About the role Delivering homes people are proud to live in We're looking for a construction quality manager to join our development team and help ensure the homes we deliver are safe, high quality and something our customers can be proud of. This role plays a key part in making sure our homes support customers to thrive, not hold them back. Working closely with project managers, you'll be the eyes and ears on site, providing technical input from pre-contract through construction, handover and the defects period. You'll carry out regular site visits to monitor quality, progress and compliance, support programme management, and work collaboratively with contractors, developers and consultants to resolve issues and keep projects on track. Health and safety is central to this role. You'll be involved at pre and post contract stages, carry out inspections, support snagging and handovers, ensure gas compliance, and assist with robust defects management, including supporting colleagues and customers where required. The role is permanent and full time. You can be based from either of our main offices in Tewkesbury or Chipping Sodbury with regular travel required. We're looking for someone who brings: Strong experience in the construction industry, ideally with at least five years in a relevant role Sound knowledge of health and safety on site, including CDM Experience of site inspections, quality control and technical problem solving Confidence working with contractors, developers and consultants, including under JCT and section 106 agreements Strong communication and organisational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively Able to complete a basic DBS and consumer check A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel regularly across Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Bath & North East Somerset and Swindon You'll ideally be qualified to degree, HND or HNC level in a construction-related discipline, or be qualified by experience. Membership of a professional body such as RICS, CIOB or CICOW is desirable.
