The Role * Work Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4:00pm * Ensure compliance with UK legislation and customer codes of practices. * Manage Internal audits. * Manage plant and product swab and micro testing programme. * Manage complaints & Non-conformance management. * Develop and organise food safety staff training across the business [in conjunction with HR and our external training resources]. * Ensure the QA team does a monthly internal audit and ensure all audits are completed. * Maintain the Quality Management System Manual of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with BRC v9. * Support the Chair of HACCP and QA Meetings to ensure regular meetings and reviews. * Check duties are undertaken by QA Assistant and other staff allocated to support the QA Team. * Ensure Health & Safety guidelines are maintained at all times inclusive of HACCP.
