Position Overview:
As a Senior Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all on-site construction activities, from inception through to completion. You will be responsible for leading and motivating the site team to deliver homes of the highest quality, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day site operations, including coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment for all.
3. Implement and monitor quality control procedures to uphold standards and meet customer expectations.
4. Coordinate with the Contract Manager to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources.
5. Oversee site logistics, including materials management, deliveries, and site security.
6. Provide leadership and support to the site team, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
7. Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to address queries, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships.
8. Prepare and submit regular progress reports and updates to the Project Manager and senior management.
Requirements:
9. Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager within the residential construction sector.
10. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
12. Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
13. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
14. Relevant construction qualifications and certifications, such as SMSTS and CSCS Black Card.
15. Full UK driving license.
