About the Company China Unicom Europe was established in 2006, headquartered in London, UK. As a wholly owned subsidiary of China Unicom Global, it plays a key role in the company’s international business expansion and operations in Europe. The company oversees eight subsidiaries in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, Hungary, and Romania, while also maintaining support hubs in the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Spain, and Italy. Key Responsibilities 1. Reviewing and updating the Company policies & procedures, staff contract & handbook according to updated employment law and also Management Team’s decision; 2. Drafting job descriptions, placing job adverts, screening of applicants, conducting interviews, references checking, sending job offer letter, preparing employment contract and also working closely with recruitment agencies on panel to expand the source of talents for European; 3. Planning, organizing and participating the whole internal staff on-boarding, promotion, separation process and role changes, company restructuring process where it’s necessary; 4. Providing all aspects of HR support and advices to Department Directors in UK including talent acquisition, employment compliance, employee relations, employee capability procedures etc.; 5. Working with in-house legal counsels and employment lawyers to deal with employee complaints and performance concerns.; 6. Analysing data including headcount, labour cost, productivity rate, staff turnover rate etc.; 7. Assisting existing employees and potential employees to get CoS in order to work in the UK legally; managing the Sponsorship Management System as Level 1 user on behalf of the Company; 8. Liaising with Hong Kong Head Office for expatriate managers to work in the UK; 9. Work with Personnel Manager to Organize and develop staff trainings such as Training for managers and all levels of employees; 10. Collecting KPI information from all directors and summarise the KPI by required format from Head Office Hong Kong and uploading it to the CUE KPI systems; 11. Issuance of employment confirmation letters, public notice and business invitation letters etc. with other HR team members; 12. Processing HR related Invoicing; 13. Other tasks assigned by Management Team. Qualifications 1. 5 year HR generalist experience in the UK; 2. Educated in Human Resource and CIPD Level 5 or above certification; 3. Fluent in English and Mandarin in reading, listening, writing and speaking; 4. Proficient in UK employment law, immigration law, and GDPR compliance in HR practices.; 5. Great numeric and literacy skills. 6. Right to work in the UK is required.
