We're looking for a Trainee Site Manager to join our Thames Valley Framework team.
Location: covering sites in the northern Thames Valley region
Hours: 45 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Trainee Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager and project delivery team in the co-ordination and management of construction activities on-site. This entry level role is designed to provide hands-on training and structured development to prepare the individual for progression into a Foreman role.
Your day to day will include:
* Assist the Site Manager with daily operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
* Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
* Support in coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and labour to meet project schedules
* Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders as required
* Deliver toolbox talks and morning briefings to site operatives
What are we looking for?
This role of Trainee Site Manager is great for you if:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an interest in construction, project management and site operations
* Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, project management skills)
* Hold a full driving license
