We have an opportunity to join our award-winning Facilities Management catering team where you will be providing tasty, nutritious, home-cooked meals made from locally sourced fresh produce. We are a 'fresh food' organisation encouraging children and young people to choose nutritious meals. We are proud to offer a wide choice of healthy options to our children, encouraging them to eat well and fuelling their appetite for learning.
We are currently recruiting a Cook to join our team at Danby School, catering for around 30-40 meals per day. As a Cook, your role will deliver an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety. Your role will require you to prepare and cook lunch for students and staff, washing up as well as other kitchen management duties, ordering food, stock taking and administration.
You will work term time only; 05 per hour in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.

Please note: there may be an opportunity for extra hours in a Relief role as a Midday Supervisor at the school.
Enhanced Level DBS Disclosure is required for appointment to this post.
