Job Title: HR Officer
Reporting to: HR Director
Terms: Permanent role
The role – As HR Officer for People & Culture, you will be joining an award‑winning team whose principal aim is to create and facilitate a market‑leading colleague experience for everyone who works for the Fibrus group of companies. You will enable people to believe in our mission and values, become who they want to be, and feel a true sense of belonging where they can be themselves. Our approach to People & Culture leans towards the most modern ideals of how an HR function should operate. You will drive engagement across a range of Fibrus’ departments and divisions, implement market‑leading practices from a people‑management and policy perspective, and act as a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted advisor to all.
Responsibilities
* Support all levels of the organisation throughout the colleague life cycle.
* Design and lead colleague engagement initiatives.
* Create and introduce new policies and practices to an organisation.
* Facilitate organisational design and talent development initiatives.
* Partner with specialist functions such as Recruitment and Learning & Development.
* Lead on complex colleague relations matters, particularly conduct and capability processes.
* Manage annual people initiatives, i.e., performance review cycles, compensation reviews and bonus schemes.
Qualifications and required skills
* CIPD qualified (or equivalent).
* Solid HR background with experience in most, if not all, of the areas listed above.
* Exceptional, empathetic communicator able to effectively manage and provide expert guidance to stakeholders at all levels of the business.
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions.
* Adapting Excel and PowerPoint proficiently.
* Comfortable with a range of HR technologies from HR information systems through to colleague survey tools.
