We’re supporting a specialist building envelope contractor on a major recladding scheme in Great Yarmouth and are looking for an experienced Site Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day delivery.
Accommodation is paid for, making this a perfect role for strong candidates based outside East Anglia.
The Project
A full external façade replacement on an occupied building, including removal of existing cladding and installation of new compliant systems. You’ll be managing sequencing, safety, subcontractors and maintaining high quality throughout.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily site operations and ensure smooth delivery across all recladding phases.
*
Coordinate subcontractors, labour teams, plant and materials.
*
Maintain top-tier H&S standards — RAMS reviews, inductions, permits, toolbox talks, incident reporting.
*
Track progress against programme and implement corrective actions where needed.
*
Liaise with clients, consultants, residents and the wider delivery team.
*
Quality control on all cladding removal/install works (fixings, insulation, fire-stopping, panel installation).
*
Keep accurate site documentation: site diaries, progress reports, photographs and delivery records.
*
Lead site meetings, flag design clashes, and support resolution of technical issues.
*
Manage site logistics including scaffolding, access routes, deliveries and storage areas.
*
Handover management, snagging, and completion sign-off.
Experience Required
*
Demonstrable experience managing recladding / façade replacement / cladding removal & install projects.
*
Strong understanding of fire compliance, installation sequencing, and façade systems.
*
Ability to run site autonomously with minimal supervision.
*
Confident engaging with clients, principal contractors, residents and building control.
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid ideal.
*
Good digital/reporting capability.
