Labourer (CSCS)
Skilled Careers a recruitment company is working with multiple construction contractors throughout the country.
We are currently looking for a CSCS Labourer to expand our team.
There is a new position for an experienced labourer in Crowborough on a property development site.
Duties for the labourer will include:
Site Preparation and Maintenance: Assist in setting up scaffolding, clearing debris, and ensuring the site is safe and organised.
Material Handling: Move and distribute materials like bricks, timber, and tools to various parts of the site.
General Labour Support: Aid skilled tradespeople (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters) with their tasks as needed.
Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements for the Labourer:
Valid CSCS Card: Demonstrates knowledge of health and safety practices on construction sites.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Includes items such as safety boots, hi-vis vest, gloves, and hard hat.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively under supervision and collaborate with other team members.
