Senior Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator
We’re working with a leading M&E contractor delivering high-value mechanical and electrical projects across commercial offices, healthcare and education, operating from their Belfast office. With a dedicated team of over 130 and an annual turnover of £80M, the company has built a strong reputation for successfully delivering a wide range of Design and Build schemes.
As part of their ongoing expansion, they’re looking to appoint a Mechanical and Electrical Senior M&E Coordinator to support the delivery of a diverse range of projects. This hands-on role involves supervising contracts and working closely with the M&E Manager, overseeing all aspects of design, compliance, and specification throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll be involved in a number of upcoming Education and Healthcare projects valued between £30–40M, providing exposure to high-profile, complex M&E delivery.
Key Responsibilities – M&E Coordinator
* Oversee the full project lifecycle from estimation through to completion, ensuring M&E packages are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
* Coordinate closely with design teams, project managers, and on-site operations to ensure contract alignment.
* Ensure all M&E works comply with design intent, technical standards, health and safety regulations, and project specifications, providing technical oversight throughout installation and commissioning.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in M&E contracting, mechanical or electrical engineering, and a strong commercial awareness. Candidates should be comfortable managing the full project lifecycle from estimating through delivery, overseeing design, compliance, and specifications, and liaising effectively with design teams, subcontractors, and senior management.
