Job title: Cook Hours: Monday- Friday, 40 hours a week- rolling month by month contract. Rate of pay: £14.00 - £14.75 per hour Main Responsibilities Preparing, cooking and serving freshly prepared meals. Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen areas. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety Policies and COSHH Regulations. Ensure food temperatures are accurately taken and recorded Be aware of dietary requirements of residents- SALT guidelines. Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications Desirable: Relevant qualification and baking skills. Required: Previous experience working in a care home environment or similar setting Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, integrity and good team working skills.
