Freight Forwarding Sales Executive
Location: North West
Salary: A£50,000+ OTE
Start: ASAP
Due to demand, our client, a specialist Freight Forwarding Transportation and Logistics solutions provider are currently looking to appoint an experienced Sales Executive for their team based in Manchester, where some office attendance is required, but working from home will also be considered.
You will join their UK Sales team where you will be covering the North West region (Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire and Cumbria).
What you'll do
* Identify sales opportunities whilst profiling all new businesses
* Track and manage the CRM system
* Represent the company in the best possible light with internal and external stakeholders
* Demonstrate a track record of developing and enhancing current client portfolios
What you need
* The successful Sales Executive will ideally have at least 2 years' experience in Sales, within the Freight industry, knowledge of Import / Export multimodal business, and high-quality communication skills.
* Good understanding of logistics processes and procedures
* Proficient with Microsoft packages especially MS Excel and general PC knowledge
* Must be flexible with their working hours, with the ability to work from home
* Have technical selling skills and product knowledge
* Have the ability to influence and negotiate

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, so no weekends required!
In return, the successful Sales Executive will be offered up to A£55000 + OTE in line with skills and experience.
