We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused full-time Tile Salesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, providing expert advice on tiles and related products, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, strong product knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining high showroom standards.

Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, working 5 days over 7 on a rota basis (includes weekends).
Duties and Responsibilities
* Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
* Provide expert advice on tile selection, layouts, and complementary products
* Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
* Prepare quotations and process sales orders accurately
* Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
* Maintain showroom displays to a high standard
* Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently
* Process payments and operate POS systems
* Assist with stock control, stock replenishment, and inventory checks
* Keep up to date with product knowledge and industry trends
Key Requirements
* Previous retail or sales experience (preferably within tiles, flooring, bathrooms, or home improvement)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build rapport and close sales
* Confident with numbers and basic IT systems
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude
* Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts on a rota basis

What We Offer
* Basic salary £12.21 per hour (rising to £12.71 from April 2026), plus Bonus (subject to achieving pre-agreed sales targets).
