Job Description
We are hiring for a Catering Manager at Harris Academy (Secondary School) in Rugby. The role works term‑time only with no weekend work, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.
Compensation
£18.50 per hour for 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, term‑time only, plus 5 days 43 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
* Ensure the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures.
* Enhance the company's reputation for excellent food and service, consistently exceeding client and customer expectations.
* Manage day‑to‑day operation of the location, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, implementing action plans and meeting daily sales targets.
* Serve as the main point of contact for our client in the school, recommending and implementing regular adjustments and improvements.
* Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets.
* Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure all training is completed and performance is managed.
Qualifications
Minimum of Level 2 Food and Health and Safety.
