We are supporting a high-performance motorsport manufacturer with the appointment of a Quality Manager to take ownership of quality across the full product lifecycle and lead the quality function.
This is a hands-on leadership role within a low-volume, high-complexity environment, combining shop-floor engagement, problem-solving, and team leadership, while shaping quality systems as the business scales.
The role
* Lead and manage the quality team, setting direction, priorities, and standards
* Own quality across manufacturing, assembly, vehicle build, and supply chain
* Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
* Manage quality from prototype through to low-volume production
* Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for complex quality issues
* Lead supplier quality, audits, and development activities
* Act as the escalation point for critical quality issues
* Work closely with engineering and operations to embed quality by design
The profile
* Experience as a Quality Manager or senior quality leader within motorsport or niche automotive
* Proven experience leading and developing quality teams
* Strong background in production, supplier, and inspection quality
* Comfortable in fast-paced, engineering-led environments
* Able to balance hands-on problem solving with longer-term quality strategy
* Pragmatic, collaborative, and confident in influencing across the business
