Requirements Cook (HBC3): Child/Adult DBS on Update Service. UK Passport/Right to Work (skilled worker VISA's need not apply) Basic Food Hygiene NVQ level 2 1 year in-UK Experience as a Cook/Chef Responsibilities (Hospitality and Catering) : Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals and drinks meeting residents' cultural and dietary requirements. Collaborate with residents to develop menus based on preferences. Train kitchen staff on production methods, service, and care home kitchen standards. Team up with kitchen staff to accomplish daily tasks efficiently. Maintain accurate records including stock control, orders, invoices, cash reconciliation, and timesheets. Ensure kitchen hygiene and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor food costs and productivity to meet targets. Procure supplies according to planned menus and manage stock. Foster positive relationships with residents, staff, and families. Fulfill other duties as assigned, appropriate to the job grade.
