Our Client, a well‑established and successful business, is going through a very exciting period in their business and is looking for an HR Manager.
You’ll be the go‑to HR professional for a diverse workforce spanning production, R&D, distribution, marketing, sales, and scientific teams. This is a hands‑on generalist role with real scope to make your mark.
Responsibilities
* Recruitment & Onboarding – Lead end‑to‑end hiring across the various departments and roles, delivering a seamless candidate experience and effective onboarding that sets people up for success.
* Employee Relations – Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, handling ER matters across all levels with confidence, fairness, and sound judgment.
* Talent Management & Development – Identify high‑potential individuals, assess skill gaps, and implement development plans that support career progression and business growth.
* Process Improvement – Spot opportunities to streamline HR operations, enhance policies, and introduce efficiencies that benefit the wider organisation.
* Strategic Partnership – Work closely with the Head of HR and leadership team to align people initiatives with business objectives, bringing fresh thinking and forward‑looking ideas to the table.
Qualifications
* CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
* Proven generalist HR experience, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or a similarly diverse operational environment.
* Strong track record in recruitment, employee relations, and talent development.
* A natural relationship‑builder who connects well with people at all levels—from the shop floor to the senior leadership team.
* Commercially minded with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
* Confident handling of complexity and ambiguity in a fast‑paced, evolving business.
* Someone with energy, personality, and a genuine passion for people.
