The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function on site. You'll oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with UK employment law, supporting managers, and driving a positive workplace culture.
What You'll Do:
* Lead HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
* Provide advice to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employment law.
* Chair board presentations and monthly worker committees.
* Manage payroll data, HR records, and the online training system.
* Drive initiatives to improve Food Safety Culture and employee engagement.
* Coach and upskill managers to develop high-performing teams.
* Support change management, restructures, and disciplinary processes.

* Proven HR management experience in a busy operational environment.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
* Proactive, innovative, and able to drive a positive work culture.
