At Beverley Building Society, we've been proudly serving our community since 1866. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced HR Manager/Generalist to join our close-knit team and oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
This is a hands-on and varied role where you'll manage recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and development while embedding our people strategy across the Society. You'll be a trusted partner to leaders and colleagues, supporting day-to-day HR activity as well as shaping the future of how we work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full HR lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding through to engagement and retention.
* Lead on employee relations, HR administration, and policy development.
* Provide insight and guidance on people strategy, ensuring it's embedded across all departments.
* Ensure compliance with employment law and regulatory requirements.
* Support line managers with HR processes, training, and development.
* Represent HR at People & Culture Committee meetings, driving improvements and championing our values.
About You:
You'll be CIPD-qualified (or working towards) with broad HR experience across the employee lifecycle. Confident and proactive, you'll be able to influence at both strategic and operational levels, bringing fresh ideas while ensuring compliance and best practice.
