Part-time HR Manager - Newly created - Permanent

MCS Group is delighted to partner with an organisation going through an exciting period of growth as they look to add a part-time HR Manager to their team, in this newly created role.

The role:

This is a newly created, hands-on generalist HR role, ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys being close to the operation and making a visible impact. Working closely with senior leaders and line managers, you will lead the day-to-day HR agenda while also shaping and delivering key people initiatives.

The main responsibilities:

* Providing pragmatic, hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
* Leading and supporting performance management processes, including coaching managers on effective people management.
* Developing and implementing skills development and career pathways across the business.
* Managing and promoting apprenticeship programmes and early careers initiatives.
* Supporting learning and development activity aligned to operational and future skills needs.
* Driving employer brand initiatives to attract, engage and retain talent.
* Advising on employee relations matters, policies and HR best practice.
* Ensuring HR processes are compliant, practical and fit for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate:

* Proven HR experience within manufacturing or similar operational environment.
* Strong hands-on experience in performance management and employee development.
* A practical, people-focused approach with strong communication skills.
* Hands-on practice knowledge of NI legislation.
* CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
