An opportunity has arisen for a 36 hour band 3 role within our busy Nursing Admin Office at New Craigs Hospital. You would become the 3rd member of a busy and welcoming team, providing support to the inpatient nursing teams within Inverness' Mental Health Hospital at New Craigs.
The successful candidate will have knowledge or experience of administrative/secretarial processes and procedures essential, some of which are non‑routine such as answering queries, role related problem solving and escalating when required, adhere to business and administration dimensions of practice, meet the core competency and education framework test, have an SCQF6 in Administrative Subject OR SCQF5 or equivalent experience and training, good IT skills with experience in MS365 Apps, the ability to work with limited supervision and to prioritise own workload and a minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role, NHS settings preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable but not essential.

* Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
