About The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for Developer to join the Core Development Team within the DDaT department at Staffordshire Police. The Core Development Team is responsible for building, testing and delivering in-house applications and interfaces between different systems. We work with a wide variety of technologies though SQL is central to the work we do. Prior experience of working in a development role with one or both of SQL Server or Oracle databases would be beneficial.
As a Developer you’ll be required to help gather requirements, work from specifications, carry out impact assessments and then develop, test and deliver projects of varying sizes as needed by the business. You will support the team with a variety of wider tasks in an environment where core systems are supplied by third parties but also in-house developments are valued.
