Overview
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and passionate Café Cook to join our team.
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, maintaining excellent food safety standards, and supporting the smooth running of our kitchen.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys café-style cooking and wants to develop their skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
Key Duties
* Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to recipes and standards
* Ensure all food is cooked safely and presented well
* Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen at all times
* Support stock rotation and assist with inventory checks
* Work efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service
* Assist with dietary requirements and special events when needed
* Follow all food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Skills & Experience
* Experience in cooking or food preparation (café, restaurant or catering preferred)
* Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
* Ability to stay organised and calm under pressure
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Attention to detail and pride in presenting food well
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques
