About the Role
As Site Manager, you will oversee all on-site metal works activities, coordinating teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will play a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and productivity across multiple project phases.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise all site-based metal works operations.
* Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
* Ensure works are completed according to project specifications and drawings.
* Monitor project progress and maintain project schedules.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
* Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, and project stakeholders.
* Resolve site issues and implement effective solutions.
* Prepare site reports and provide regular project updates.
* Manage site resources to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, or similar role.
* Strong background in metal works, steel fabrication, or structural steel projects.
* Excellent understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
* Relevant construction or engineering qualifications preferred.
* Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between project sites where required.
