Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Manager located in London / surrounding areas. The Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include supervising site activities, managing subcontractors and direct labor, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining clear communication with clients and project teams. The Site Manager will conduct inspections, coordinate meetings, and resolve any on-site challenges to ensure smooth progression from project initiation to completion.
Qualifications
Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and team supervision
Proficiency in construction techniques, safety regulations, and quality control standards
Experience in managing budgets, cost control, and procurement
Effective communication, leadership abilities, and the capability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members
Familiarity with construction software and tools for reporting and project tracking
CITB SMSTS/SSSTS certification is required; first aid and health & safety qualifications are also essential
Proven experience in construction projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and fit-outs
Ability to adapt to diverse projects and deliver quality outcomes within project scope and budget
