B&E Construction is a Civil Engineering company working in large construction projects across the UK.
We are looking to hire an HR officer to oversee the recruitment process of employees and subcontractors. You will be responsible to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract suitable talent. You must have experience in similar role, preferable on the construction industry.
Some of the duties will include:
* Drafting job descriptions, job adverts, review CV's, scheduling interviews and taking notes.
* Source candidates using job boards, social media, professional networks and referrals.
* Verify the candidates details, qualifications, right to work and references.
* Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and follow up with candidates.
* Issue contracts and onboarding documentation.
* Ensure due diligence checks are completed on subcontractors and labour agencies.
* Maintain accurate and up to date records at all times
* Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future roles.
* Ensure company policies, law and regulations are followed correctly.
Required skills
* The ability to manage a varied and demanding workload is essential, as is excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
* Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
* Good social media skills
* Working knowledge of CRM systems
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
* Educated to A levels or higher
* Formal training in marketing and HR would be preferred
You must be able to drive and hold a valid driving license.
This is an office based role.
Pay will be negotiated on skills and experience.
