Equity Reward Manager - UK Wide Office locations
A Big 4 Accounting Practice is recruiting for multiple Equity Reward Managers. The positions can be based in any of their offices across the UK, including Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Newcastle upon Tyne, Nottingham, Reading, and Watford.
The Rewards division is a rapidly expanding area of the firm. We are seeking to recruit multiple Equity Reward Tax specialists who are eager to contribute to this exciting growth. The firm offers flexible working arrangements of 1-3 days per week in the office, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, an option to buy or sell holiday entitlement, a discretionary yearly bonus, an annual benefits allowance, and more.
Your responsibilities as an Equity Reward Manager will include:
* Collaborating with senior leaders to support and lead on various projects;
* Designing and structuring new equity or cash-based incentive plans, considering tax (UK and overseas), commercial, and accounting impacts; reviewing existing plans to ensure they remain effective;
* Advising on the tax implications of corporate transactions affecting compensation and benefits plans, and on the tax structuring of such transactions;
* Developing plans for the wider workforce, including employee share purchase schemes;
* Providing advice to Remuneration Committees and management on reward strategy, shareholder consultation, corporate governance, pay regulation, ESG regulation, and practices;
* Assisting in drafting Directors' Remuneration Reports;
* Conducting pay and benefits benchmarking;
* Keeping abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and new products and services;
* Delegating tasks to junior team members and reviewing their work from technical and commercial perspectives;
* Training and mentoring junior team members in technical and non-technical areas;
* Contributing to the development of innovative solutions for clients and participating in initiatives to bring these solutions to market.
About you:
* Possessing ATT and/or CTA/ACA/Legal qualifications;
* Demonstrating strong technical expertise, client service skills, and business development acumen;
* Experience in designing and structuring new equity or cash-based incentive plans;
* Advising on reward strategy, shareholder consultation, corporate governance, pay regulation, ESG regulation, and related practices.
