Description
We have an excellent opportunity to join our HR team as a Group HR Administrator at Newsquest Media Group Ltd. This role provides high-quality HR administration and customer service support to managers and employees across the UK.
You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, acting as a trusted first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries. This is an ideal opportunity for an organised, people-focused individual with HR or administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop their HR career.

Key Responsibilities
Acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, providing accurate first-line advice on policies and benefits
Delivering general HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes and leavers
Preparing and issuing offer letters, contracts and other HR documentation
Maintaining and updating HR systems and personnel files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and GDPR compliance
Supporting onboarding and induction processes for new starters
Minute taking as required
Working closely with colleagues across the HR team to ensure a consistent and high-quality service
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
Ability to manage a high volume of administrative tasks and prioritise competing deadlines
Professional and discreet approach when handling confidential information
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using HR or other business systems
A CIPD qualification is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals who are keen to learn, grow and develop within HR.
