About the Role:
Our client are seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of construction fit- out projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
You will be required to provide management across a number of areas including :
Site Leadership & Coordination
2. Manage daily site operations and workforce.
3. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries.
4. Hold morning briefings and toolbox talks.
5. Ensure work is carried out in line with project programming and sequencing.
6. Health, Safety & Compliance
7. Adhere to all H&S legislation including CDM regulations.
8. Conduct site inductions, RAMS reviews, and regular safety inspections.
9. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant site at all times.
10. Ensure all incidents, near misses, and accidents are recorded and reported.
Quality Control
11. Monitor workmanship and ensure all works meet specification.
12. Review and sign off completed tasks.
13. Identify defects and manage snagging through to completion.
14. Ensure materials and installations meet client standards.
Communication & Reporting
15. Act as the primary on-site contact for contractors and interface with the client to ensure their day-to-day operations are maintained.
16. Provide daily/weekly progress updates to the project team to inform the overall progress report for project.
17. Attend meetings with internal teams and external contractors.
18. Maintain detailed site diaries and documentation.
Subcontractor Supervision
19. Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure method statements are followed.
20. Resolve site-based issues quickly and professionally.
21. Ensure safe working practices and high-quality standards throughout.
Requirements:
22. Previous experience as a Site Manager in construction or fit-out projects.
23. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site compliance.
24. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
25. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
26. Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
