SC Cleared Data Architect – Azure - Remote - Competitive Day rate
We’re looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a a central government department, designing scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
🔍 What you’ll be doing
* Designing relational and dimensional data models to industry best practice
* Defining data architecture patterns, standards, and governance
* Translating business requirements into scalable Azure-based solutions
* Advising on modern data patterns (e.g. medallion architecture)
* Working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders across the programme
1. ✅ What we’re looking for
* Strong data modelling expertise (relational + dimensional)
* Proven experience as a Data Architect (not just engineering)
* Solid knowledge of Azure data platforms (e.g. Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS, Fabric)
* Ability to design data patterns aligned to Azure
* Active SC Clearance (DV a bonus)

* Remote-first with occasional London workshops
* 6-month contract with likely extension
