About Camborne House Camborne House is a specialist long-stay home providing care for children with a range of learning disabilities. Our aim is to create a nurturing environment where children can develop the skills and confidence, they need for day-to-day life. We support children with emotional well-being, health, and social needs, tailoring our care to meet their individual requirements.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who has experience of working as a cook. You will receive full support, ongoing training, and development opportunities. The Residential provision is a 24hr service, applicants for these roles will be expected to work shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
This is a part time role working 18.5 hours per week. The salary will be pro rota'd.
Responsibilities:
* Meal planning, food preparation and cooking
* Health, safety and hygiene
* Supporting the children’s dietary needs
* Inventory management and record keeping
* Teamwork and engagement
* Cultural sensitivity, food aversions and sensory challenges
About you:
* Experience working as a cook.
* Strong organisation and time managements skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A compassionate and patient approach, with a commitment to providing a high-quality service.
* Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers.
* Relevant qualifications.
